By road:

Blaich Cottage is bordered to the North by Loch Eil, and to the East by Loch Linnhe.

Aprroximately 19 miles to Fort William, 84 miles to Inverness and 115 miles to Glasgow.

From Fort William follow the A82 to Inverness. At the traffic lights take the A830 Road to the Isles heading for Mallaig. At the head of Loch Eil turn left at the Drumsallie junction on the A861 single track road heading for Strontian. You will pass through several crofting communities before reaching Blaich. The drive to Blaich is directly opposite the red telephone box and has a sign on the green gate.

Alternatively, if you are travelling from the South, you can hop on the Corran Ferry, www.lochabertransport.org.uk which takes you across to Ardgour, a trip of approximately 4 minutes, costing £6.20 for a car and passengers, when reaching the other side turn right on the A861 heading for Loch Eil. When reaching Blaich, (15 miles) the red telephone box will be on your right with Blaich Cottage drive opposite on the left.

By air:
